Nick Young
Born June 1, 1985, in Los Angeles, California, Nick Young is a former NBA champion and 12-year NBA veteran who starred at USC before being selected 16th overall by the Washington Wizards in the 2007 NBA Draft. Known as "Swaggy P," Young played for six NBA teams, including the Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors, where he won an NBA Championship in 2018. Now entering his second season as Head Coach of the LA Riot, Young brings championship experience, hometown pride, and a winning mentality as he looks to lead Los Angeles to its first BIG3 title.
Dwight Howard
Born December 8, 1985 in Atlanta, Georgia, Dwight Howard is a 6'11" center who was selected first overall in the 2004 NBA Draft straight out of high school. What followed was one of the most dominant careers in basketball history. Over 18 NBA seasons, Superman racked up 19,485 points, 14,627 rebounds, and 2,228 blocks, earning 8 All-Star selections, 5 All-NBA First Team honors, 3 Defensive Player of the Year awards, and an NBA Championship. Howard was inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame as part of the 2025 class. Now he brings that Hall of Fame legacy to Los Angeles as the Player-Captain of the Riot — and he's not done yet.
Jordan Crawford
Born October 23, 1988 in Detroit, Michigan, Jordan Crawford is a 6'4" shooting guard who was selected 27th overall in the 2010 NBA Draft after a standout career at Xavier University. A scorer's scorer, Crawford took his game global — averaging an astonishing 43.1 points per game in 26 games with the CBA China League's Gold Lions. In 2023 he led the BIG3 Enemies to their first championship, scoring 23 points and sinking the game-winning shot in a 50-43 victory at London's O2 Arena. Now entering his fourth BIG3 season and his first with the LA Riot, Crawford brings a championship pedigree, multiple All-Star selections, and a proven killer instinct to Los Angeles.
Kosta Koufos
Born February 24, 1989 in Canton, Ohio, Kosta Koufos is a 7'0" Greek-American center who was selected 23rd overall in the 2008 NBA Draft by the Utah Jazz after one standout season at Ohio State. An 11-year NBA veteran, Koufos made stops with the Utah Jazz, Minnesota Timberwolves, Denver Nuggets, Memphis Grizzlies, and Sacramento Kings, with his best season coming in Denver where he started all 81 games and averaged 8 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 1.3 blocks. After the NBA, Koufos continued competing at the highest level in Russia and Greece before landing with the LA Riot. At 7 feet tall with elite basketball IQ, he gives the Riot a presence in the paint that opponents simply can't ignore.
Billy Preston
Born in Dallas, Texas on October 26, 1997, Billy Preston is a 6'9" power forward with a story that's anything but ordinary. A McDonald's All-American and Oak Hill Academy standout, Preston committed to the University of Kansas in 2016 and arrived as one of the most physically gifted prospects in the country — measuring 6'10.5" in shoes with a 7'0.5" wingspan. After going undrafted, Preston signed with the Cleveland Cavaliers and took his game global — competing in Australia, Bosnia, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, South Africa, and Taiwan. Now he's brought that world-tested game to Los Angeles — and the Riot is better for it.
Chris Allen
Chris Allen is a 6'3" guard born in Lawrenceville, Georgia who played college ball at Iowa State, graduating in 2012. After going undrafted, Allen built one of the most well-traveled careers in professional basketball, competing in Brazil, China, the Dominican Republic, Greece, Hungary, Israel, and Mexico before finding a home in the BIG3. A tenacious defender with a scorer's instinct, Allen brings veteran grit and global experience to the Riot. He's the kind of player who makes the right play, guards the other team's best, and never backs down — exactly the DNA the LA Riot is built on.
